"We forsake the important for the sake of the urgent." This past couple of weeks have been all about the urgent it seems, and it has taken a toll on me. Finally I took the time today to sit and reflect on my time, and the crisises that have occured in my life recently. I realized the sun still came up, the sun went down, and tonight no matter what I made it to bed. The days, even the worst and most crisis filled end, and that is all you have and you dont get it back. So dont wish time away, take comfort in knowing things will pass, but know time runs faster than you so dont give it a head start. Keep the important important, and I can not tell you what is important to you, but when you dont take care of it you will know. When you do fail just do the best you can. I know this blog falls way short on the important, but i just wanted to say that before heading to bed then off to class. Goodnight.

Some may think I am kind of childish for watching kids movies, but just the other day a movie really struck me. During a scene a young man had done so much wrong in his life that he felt he had no purpose. An older gentleman told him to look at a tappestry and notice one single thread. No matter how bright that thread is it can not see its whole purpose by looking at itself from its own perspective as a single thread. Instead those who stood back and could see the entire tappestry could see why it was placed where it was, and what its purpose was.

WOW!!! I just realized how long it has been since I made a post. Well my first semester in college is over now, and like every other college student I did stress a little with finals week, but that is all over now. My work schedule is finally slowing down to a pace where I can balance everything, and I am grateful for that. For those who dont know my dad is moving back to Oklahoma, he has already moved most of his things, he is just waiting for his house in Texas to sell then he will move back to my old home town. I actually finished my pledge process and I have been inducted as a member of Sima Theta Epsilon "Iota" class. If anyone out there still writes on this thing let me know, it would be nice to hear from some old friends. see you all soon.
